Gemini is now available as your preferred language in Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, and more.

Google Cloud announced on the 22nd that it is expanding support for a total of 7 languages, including Korean, in the side panel of Gemini for Google Workspace.

The newly added languages are Korean, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, and French.

The seven newly added languages are available via Gemini, which is built into the side panel of Google Workspace products including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, and Gmail.

Users will be able to write social media posts in Google Docs in their own language, summarize details from multiple files stored in Google Drive, check their Gmail inbox, and more. A side panel for Google Slides will be available in the coming months.

Meanwhile, Google Cloud is offering a 60-day free trial of Gemini for Google Workspace to corporate customers for a certain period of time, allowing them to utilize Gemini in their preferred language by introducing it in the side panel. More information can be found on the Google Workspace webpage.
