Affordable price of $179, based on Polaris architecture AMD has announced the official launch of its new graphics card based on the Polaris architecture, the Radeon RX 470. The product is designed to target a broad range of mainstream users, and the recommended retail price is set at $179.
The Radeon RX 470 is equipped with a variety of new technologies that were not seen in existing mainstream products, such as asynchronous compute, a next-generation graphics processing technology, HDR monitors, and next-generation API support.
