Jetson Edge AI·Drive Hyperion Platform
u-blox (CEO of u-blox Korea), a global leader in positioning and wireless communication technologies, has announced that its high-precision positioning solution will be used in NVIDIA's artificial intelligence platform and has been recognized for its high accuracy in positioning.
u-blox today announced that it is strengthening its support for the NVIDIA® Jetson™ and NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion™ platforms as part of its strategic growth plan for high-precision positioning technology for industrial and automotive applications.
u-blox has joined the NVIDIA Jetson Partner Ecosystem, bringing cutting-edge AI performance to autonomous machines and other edge AI applications across all industrial markets.
u-blox’s industry-leading high-precision positioning solutions combine multi-constellation, multi-band GNSS RTK receivers with reliable GNSS correction technology to deliver real-time centimeter-level accuracy to end devices.
Designed to be accessible and easy to use, this solution enables engineers in the ecosystem to rapidly develop and deploy AI-enabled autonomous mobile robots, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), precision agricultural equipment, and other autonomous machines that can perceive their environments.
For autonomous driving, u-blox is listed as a reference device for the IMU/GNSS sensor and accessory ecosystem of the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin™ Developer Kit.
This reference accessory board contains the u-blox ZED-F9K high-precision dead reckoning GNSS module with integrated IMU sensor and native support for the u-blox PointPerfect GNSS correction service.
With this entry into the NVIDIA Jetson partner ecosystem, u-blox, a Swiss technology company and industry leader in trusted GNSS RTK solutions, connects to the autonomous driving application developer community.
“u-blox’s collaboration with NVIDIA will enable engineers to more easily develop autonomous vehicles and mobile robots based on u-blox’s high-precision positioning solutions,” said Stephan Zizala, CEO of u-blox. “u-blox will continue to innovate to provide advanced navigation solutions that are accurate, reliable, easy-to-use, and well-received by our customers.”
