AI-based security solution and expert capabilities combined for 24-hour real-time threat detection and response
Cost savings and stable security response possible instead of the company's own difficult-to-operate security team
“As the digital age rapidly evolves, cyber threats are becoming more sophisticated by the day. Accordingly, companies need more sophisticated threat response strategies beyond simple firewalls or intrusion detection systems. In this environment, Pago Networks is playing a key role in supporting cybersecurity for enterprises by providing advanced Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services.”
Kwon Young-mok, CEO of Pagonetworks, announced at a press conference held as a side event of the 'Pago Security Summit 2025' held at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas on the 23rd that the company is fighting cyber threats at the forefront of corporate cybersecurity.
CEO Kwon Young-mok stated that Pagonetworks is not a company that simply provides security solutions, but rather, under the slogan “Your Frontline Against Cyber Threats,” it fights cyber threats on the front lines on behalf of its customers.
To this end, Pagonetworks provides 24-hour real-time threat detection and response services by combining AI-based security solutions and the capabilities of expert analysts.
The core of MDR service is a multi-layered response that combines automated detection technology and human intuition.
Once the AI-based detection solution identifies a threat, Pagonetworks analysts verify it and take necessary actions.
This approach allows for more effective blocking of cyberattacks that may be missed by traditional security systems.
Pagonetworks’ capabilities are already recognized internationally. In 2024, they won the Asia's Best Managed Services Provider award from Enterprise City magazine.
Additionally, he participates in the annual global 24-hour hacking competition Poseidon CTF and achieves outstanding results.
In this competition, Pagonetworks entered five teams and all of them ranked in the global top 10, earning recognition as the best in the industry.
Pagonetworks meets the individual security needs of companies through various security solutions and service models.
Pagonetworks forms and manages a virtual team to replace the security team that companies find difficult to operate on their own. This allows customers to reduce costs and provide more stable security responses.
Network Detection and Response (NDR) provides an environment that automatically detects cyber threats occurring on corporate networks and responds in real time.
It provides comprehensive security services, including AI-based EDR, NDR, XDR, and dark intelligence-based ASM (Attack Surface Management).
Pagonetworks is building a strong cybersecurity ecosystem by collaborating with SentinelOne, Stellar Cyber, and StealthMole.
We are developing strategies to improve the accuracy of threat detection and block attacker intrusion attempts by utilizing AI-based security technologies.
In particular, Pagonetworks has a system that goes beyond simple threat detection to discover and respond to hidden attacks early through Live Threat Hunting.
This allows for quick blocking of attacks disguised as normal traffic or attempts to hijack user accounts that AI fails to detect.
Pagonetworks is taking a strategy that differentiates it from existing security vendors. They go beyond simply detecting and reporting threats and take an active role in responding to them.
First, Containment detects threats and blocks them early to prevent the attack from spreading, and Live Forensics & IR (Incident Response) provides a Live IR function that analyzes the cause of a cyberattack and finds a fundamental solution.
It also takes proactive security measures to immediately disable compromised accounts within your organization or block malicious traffic by adjusting Active Directory and firewall policies.
CEO Kwon Young-mok said, “Pagonetworks has established itself as a company responsible for corporate cybersecurity at the forefront by combining AI-based security solutions and advanced analysis capabilities. It goes beyond simple detection to perform proactive responses, and is further developing corporate security systems.” He added, “As corporate cybersecurity evolves from a simple defense to a practical attack response system, Pagonetworks’ role is becoming more important. They said, “Going forward, we will work with our customers to proactively block security threats and build a safer digital environment.”

Meanwhile, at the press conference held that day, Kwon Young-mok, CEO of Pagonetworks, Aimei Wei, CTO of Stella Cyber, Karen Chong, Vice President of SentinelOne, and Louis Hur, CEO of StealthMall attended and discussed the advancement of AI technology and cybersecurity strategies.
First, Aimei Wei, CTO of Stella Cyber, announced that they are implementing a technology to combine complex cyber attacks by performing anomaly detection and analyzing various attack signals using graph AI.
He also emphasized that the AI-based Threat Hunting function helps security experts ask questions and explore more efficiently.
In particular, Agentic AI was introduced as the latest technology.
The technology automatically breaks down complex problems into smaller units and solves them, and multiple AI agents can collaborate to perform security responses. This is similar to the concept of a digital worker, where humans supervise AI.
Karen Chong, SentinelOne's vice president, explained that the company is building an integrated security platform using AI, which will provide customers with automated threat detection and response capabilities.
SentinelOne is expanding its AI-based EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) solution to build a comprehensive security platform that includes XDR, cloud security, and automation systems.
SentinelOne emphasized that AI-based SOC operations are possible, and that this effectively plays a role in strengthening the organization’s security posture and detecting and blocking threats in advance. AI-based automated solutions help security analysts respond more quickly.
StealthMall CEO Louis Hur explained that the company uses AI to tag and analyze data obtained from the dark web to provide information related to cybercrime.
It uses AI to analyze information such as photos, landmarks, and phone numbers and identify whether the information is related to cybercrime.
It was also revealed that it is possible to provide an enhanced threat intelligence system by connecting dark web data with IOC (Indicators of Compromise) data from existing security solutions. It was emphasized that the process of expanding data using AI and analyzing the relationship of attacks through correlation is essential.
Kwon Young-mok, CEO of Pagonetworks, explained how the company provides MDR (Managed Detection and Response) services in cooperation with AI-based security companies. He said that they are taking an approach that combines the intuition of human experts with automation of threat detection and response, and are building more sophisticated security services through collaboration with global security companies.
In particular, it was argued that Pagonetworks' role is differentiated as a security service provider rather than a simple reseller.
He also discussed the differences between general resellers selling security solutions and MDR service providers, emphasizing that a security model that combines AI and professional human capabilities is more effective.
