▲Alchera signs MOU with Time In Out
Facial recognition AI, support for fraudulent attendance management technology
Leading the biometric authentication market in areas such as access control and finance
As the artificial intelligence service market gradually expands, technological competition and cooperation to lead the related market are intensifying.
Alchera announced on the 19th that it has signed a partnership agreement with Time In Out for technological cooperation for a facial recognition AI-based irregular work attendance management service.
This technology creates a work environment that prevents proxy and fraudulent attendance using other people's photos or videos through real-time facial authentication of the user. Alchera's facial recognition AI extracts facial features to verify identity.
It is expected to be utilized in various fields such as finance, security, and healthcare based on entry control and identity authentication. In particular, even simple actions such as taking a selfie can enable accurate identity verification, and there is no risk of theft or loss as it utilizes a person's unique facial information.
In addition, it can be applied to all devices equipped with a camera, and can be used in an integrated manner across multiple channels with just one registration.
Alchera emphasized that its forgery detection technology, 'Facial Liveness', is a product with the strength of preventing various types of fraudulent authentication, such as facial copy images, videos, and 3D masks.
By passing the 'Face Forgery Detection Performance (PAD)' test of iBeta in the United States, it has proven its technological prowess that surpasses international standards, and based on this, it also ranked first in the BMT of the 2022 Smart Government Building Integrated Management System Construction Project hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
Alchera has completed the establishment of a facial recognition system in its four main buildings in Seoul, Daejeon, Sejong, and Gwacheon, and is strengthening access security for government and public institutions representing the Republic of Korea through facial recognition AI technology.
Hwang Young-gyu, CEO of Alchera, said, “Facial recognition AI is the safest and most reliable core technology that will lead to innovation in personal authentication,” and, “In the trend where biometric personal authentication services based on mobile devices, PCs, and web browsers are becoming popular in various fields, Alchera will aggressively lead the innovation of technological accuracy and convenience.”
