It is said that generative artificial intelligence is expanding to functions we could not have imagined, such as freely exchanging messages in various languages, creation, and optimal judgment functions, and is approaching us not just as a concern but as a 'horror'.

For about 20 years now, world-renowned scholars have always emphasized that the greatest threat to humanity is not 'aliens' but 'artificial intelligence' developed by us.

Before the fears of the first generative AI, Chat GPT, have died down, the global software industry is releasing a variety of generative AIs.

As artificial intelligence becomes more advanced, voices calling for regulation are also growing louder.

Recently, the UN is rushing to draft a basic law to regulate artificial intelligence, and each major country is also in the process of enacting laws that only regulate its positive use.

Artificial intelligence experts are even asserting that artificial intelligence will be the biggest factor in the extinction of humanity within the next 100 years.

The problem is that these generative AIs are not only utilizing the positive aspects of humanity, but are also moving towards negative aspects, especially the militarization of war and other weaponization.

This is because even now, global local wars are in progress, and it is obvious that artificial intelligence will be abused due to humanity's inherent instinct for conquest, such as in the Ukrainian War or the Middle East War.

Some say that if development continues at the current pace, artificial intelligence with judgment and intelligence similar to or even higher than that of humans will be developed in about 3 to 4 years.I'm in a hurry.

The rapid development of artificial intelligence is said to make the future of humanity even darker.

This is because the reality in which genuine products and copies are mixed, lies run rampant, and it is difficult to distinguish between the real and the fake is approaching, and this is already happening.

The movie 'Atlas', which was recently released on Netflix, is about an android robot with artificial intelligence trying to dominate humans with its best brain function through a 'neural link' that connects to the human brain. I remember watching it with interest as a futuristic movie that reflects reality.

This 'Neural Link' is a development company with the same meaning as 'Neural Link', a subsidiary created by Tesla's Elon Musk.

There has already been a successful experiment in which a semiconductor chip was implanted in the human brain to operate a computer using only thoughts.

These types of experiments have been successful for decades already, and are currently being commercialized to amplify human brain waves to enable people to move objects and operate machines with just their thoughts.

While such products can be meaningful to people with disabilities, they can also be seriously disqualifying if abused.

It should be noted that the use of artificial intelligence, as well as the technology to copy human brain knowledge into a computer, is not something that exists only in imagination.

What concerns me most is that while it will take time for fully human-like humanoid robots like those in the movies to be implemented, automobiles are emerging as an immediate possibility.

It already includes autonomous driving technology and artificial intelligence based on moving home appliances such as electric vehicles.Active driving functions are being developed to enable elderly people to make decisions on their behalf when they have difficulty making decisions while driving, and autonomous vehicles are being developed.

It also reminds me of an old movie where hundreds of new cars were hacked into at each auto dealership in New York City and raced down the streets using artificial intelligence to kill the main character.

It may sound like a far-fetched idea, but the truth is that this approach could soon become a reality.

As someone who majored in electronic control, I believe that it is definitely possible, and not long ago, a broadcasting station officially requested that I, who is the president of the 'Automobile Acceleration Research Association', conduct a test through car hacking.

I hope that the concern that automobiles, which were created to benefit humans, will turn into a 'weapon of civilization' as they become a means of transportation that includes artificial intelligence, will end up as a simple concern.

This is an important time that requires wise and cool-headed responses and alternatives from our humanity.
