Training of personnel at the level of first-year AI service development
A policy of 'training 1 million digital talents' is being promoted for cutting-edge and digital fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, and semiconductors, where industries are rapidly reorganizing and demand for human resources continues.
IBM Korea announced on the 17th that it will participate as an operator of the 'K-Digital Training Digital Leading Company Academy' with Red Hat to foster AI service development experts.
Among the digital industry talent development projects hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the 'K-Digital Training Leading Company Academy' aims to foster practical talent who can be immediately deployed in the field by having leading companies design training courses and conducting training centered on projects that are actually utilized by the companies.
In this project, named '[IBM x Red Hat] AI Transformation - AX Academy', IBM Korea and Red Hat will provide practical know-how and professional field skills to selected trainees through their affiliated employees who will participate as instructors and mentors.
In addition, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry will provide support for operational requirements, and its partner organization, HiMedia Academy, will provide lecture infrastructure.sp;
Selected trainees will receive training over a 960-hour training period of approximately 6 months from February 11 to August 1 to carry out projects utilizing IBM Watson X, an AI platform for corporate business, and Red Hat OpenShift, a hybrid cloud application platform, and will be able to gain experience carrying out projects in an environment similar to the actual corporate work environment.
The main training contents include: △Programming language for AI service development △Web full-stack for AI service development △Database & DBMS △Deep learning for AI model development △In-depth deep learning for AI model development △System & network construction △Red Hat OpenShift (Kubernetes) △AWS cloud service △IBM Watson X experience, and the goal is to foster AI service developers capable of practical work such as full-stack development and deep learning implementation.
This academy trainee selection will be held until January 19th, and anyone who is currently enrolled or graduated from a university that can issue a Tomorrow Learning Card can participate. All training costs will be provided free of charge to the trainees who are finally selected.
