Mouser Electronics, the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, today announced an exclusive video interview with Dean Kamen, founder of FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), an organization that inspires and inspires hundreds of thousands of young people to pursue science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) talent each year, and pioneers technological advancements and innovations that shape their everyday lives.
Since 2014, Mouser has been a key sponsor of FIRST, a youth-focused nonprofit dedicated to advancing STEM education through hands-on robotics programs that teach problem solving and teamwork.
In a 10-minute interview video, Cayman talks about his secrets to success, the importance of technology, and the impact FIRST has on young people.
“The world of technology continues to raise the bar for what’s possible,” he said.“There are millions of jobs in the world, but kids who know how to use technology can build careers that aren’t just jobs,” he said.
