“Mouser is excited to offer SOC2 Type 2 and I,” said Raju Shah, senior vice president of information services at Mouser Electronics.“Achieving ISO 27001 Stage 2 and Cyber Essentials certifications once again demonstrates our ongoing commitment to security and compliance,” said Steve Blum, Mouser’s vice president of security and compliance. “We are pleased that Mouser can now meet a higher level of security requirements than the standards dictate, and we will continue to invest in best practices and technologies to help keep our customers and manufacturers’ data safe.”
SOC2, ISO 27001, and Cyber Essentials are a series of national and international standards that support the requirements for an ISMS. The framework includes policies, processes, and controls designed to help companies manage cybersecurity risks and protect information assets from threats.
To achieve certification to this framework, organizations must meet all of the rigorous requirements outlined in the standard, including developing and implementing an information security policy, establishing a risk management process, and implementing risk identification and mitigation controls.
Mouser has achieved all of its certifications through five independent third-party assessments through 2023 and will be re-evaluated regularly to maintain this highest level of certification.
