Support for industrial edge reinforcement and upgrade projects

Moxa, a leader in industrial communications and networking, introduces new industrial computers to meet the increasing data connectivity and real-time processing demands of massive sensors and devices connecting the industrial edge.

Moxa announced on the 14th the launch of a new line of x86 industrial computers (IPCs) that deliver outstanding reliability, adaptability, and long life.

Moxa supports industrial edge retrofit and upgrade projects that require reliable and robust IPCs with its new BXP, DRP, and RKP series of x86 IPCs, which consists of a total of 75 models with multiple form factors, adaptable interface combinations, and various Intel® processor options.

Moxa's comprehensive IPC portfolio is specifically designed to meet the evolving needs of industrial automation.

The BXP, DRP, and RKP series are backed by an industry-leading 3-year hardware warranty and a minimum 10-year supply lifespan, respectively.

Additionally, our streamlined Configure-To-Order Service (CTOS) helps customers quickly identify the best product for their application in just a few steps.

It is also rugged and designed to operate reliably even in harsh environments. The sealed design, which effectively dissipates heat with a fanless computer, reduces unexpected maintenance and system failures. This ensures uninterrupted operation even in POS systems in transportation and gas stations that require large amounts of data processing and where equipment may be exposed to harsh outdoor environments.

These computers also meet safety standards through rigorous testing for extreme temperatures, power surges, and shocks that they are continuously exposed to, allowing them to withstand extreme weather conditions and operate without interruption, unaffected by overheating or freezing.

Moxa is committed to providing the best product quality and demonstrates its confidence in the quality of its products by offering a three-year hardware warranty, the highest level in the industrial computer market. Additionally, Moxa supports a 10-year product life cycle with long-term product supply warranty.

The basic model can be supplemented with a variety of interface combinations, with models available with up to 12 LAN ports and 10 serial ports, depending on the series.

A variety of models powered by Intel Atom®, Intel Celeron®, or Intel CoreTM processors are available to support applications with varying levels of complexity.

Additionally, our Configure-To-Order (CTO) service offers a variety of operating systems, memory, and storage options, making system assembly easier to manage than ever before and reducing time to market.

“To accommodate the strong growth of the IPC market, we have established an innovative process for our next-generation IPC portfolio to solve customer pain points in IPC purchasing, from product cycle cost to product features such as fanless design and easy configuration options to cycle services,” said Jonas Chen, Director of the x86 Business Unit at Moxa. “With over 35 years of OT experience and expertise in diverse industries, Moxa is focused on providing the market with best-in-class IPCs to complete the critical puzzle of edge connectivity. Based on our unmatched expertise, we are able to enable seamless connectivity between edge devices and industrial automation systems, enabling industrial users to effectively manage data connectivity and networking at the edge.”
