로옴(ROHM)이 소비전류 160nA 실현한 배터리 소모를 대폭 줄인 OP Amp 신제품 ‘LMR1901YG-M’을 내 놓으며, 가전기기 및 산업기기의 저전력화에 기여했다.
Achieves 160nA current consumption, contributing to low power consumption of home appliances and industrial equipment

ROHM has contributed to power saving in home appliances and industrial equipment by releasing a new OP Amp product that significantly reduces battery consumption by achieving current consumption of 160nA.
ROHM announced on the 21st that it has developed the linear op amp 'LMR1901YG-M' with the world's lowest current consumption.
This product is optimal for amplifying sensor signals that detect and measure temperature, flow rate, gas concentration, etc. in applications that are powered by internal power sources such as batteries.
The new product thoroughly suppresses current increases due to temperature and voltage changes through ROHM's proprietary ultra-low current consumption technology, reducing current consumption by approximately 38% compared to conventional low-current consumption op amps to 160nA (Typ.).
Accordingly, it not only extends the life of applications that operate on built-in batteries, such as ESL (Electronic Shelf Label), but also contributes to extending the operating time of applications equipped with rechargeable batteries, such as smartphones.
In addition, since there is almost no change in current consumption over the operating temperature range of -40℃ to +105℃, stable, low-power operation is possible even in environments where the external temperature changes, such as in fire alarms and environmental sensors.
The input offset voltage is reduced by 45% compared to general low-current OP Amp products, and is suppressed to a maximum of 0.55㎷ (Ta=25℃).The sensor signal can be amplified with high precision by guaranteeing a maximum of 7μV/℃ of temperature drift※2.
It has a wide power supply voltage range of 1.7 V to 5.5 V and Rail to Rail input/output※3, making it suitable for a wide range of home appliance and industrial equipment applications.
It also complies with the automotive equipment reliability standard 'AEC-Q100', enabling stable operation while maintaining functionality even under demanding conditions such as inside a vehicle.
The LMR1901YG-M provides various technical data required for circuit design and SPICE models for simulation free of charge on the official ROHM website, and is also compatible with the ROHM Solution Simulator to support rapid market introduction.
The new product has started mass production with a production capacity of 1 million units per month (sample price 600 yen/unit, excluding tax).
