ADI's LTC7890/1 synchronous step-down controllers drive N-channel synchronous GaN FET power stages from input voltages up to 100 V.
This device simplifies design by eliminating the need for protection diodes or additional components. The LT8418 is a 100 V half-bridge GaN driver that uses a split gate driver to adjust the turn-on and turn-off slew rates of GaN FETs. This suppresses ringing and optimizes EMI performance.
Because GaN technology operates at high switching frequencies, passive component selection is critical. Burns offers PQ planar power inductors, CWP3230A chip inductors, and TLVR1105T TLVR inductors.
These devices feature low inductance, high current ratings, and shielding construction to reduce emissions.
