Participation of 5 best partners including A&P
SK Materials Airplus (CEO Jong-jin Oh), a subsidiary of SK Materials, has begun spreading industrial safety culture through industrial accident prevention activities and treatment of industrial accident patients.
On the 12th, SK Materials Airplus held an agreement ceremony with five partner companies to donate 20 million won to the Ansan Hospital of the Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service to spread safety culture in industrial sites.
SK Materials Airplus has been conducting regular purchasing evaluations of its partners and, together with partners that received the highest rating, has been donating to Ansan Hospital, a hospital specializing in industrial accidents, since 2022.
This year, top partners including A&P, Woojoo Construction Co., Ltd., Dabu Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd., Kyungdong ENS Co., Ltd., and Minseong Co., Ltd. attended the signing ceremony.
The donation was raised from funds raised by SK Materials Airplus from selling unused resources such as scrap iron and waste electrical wires generated during business operations.
Ansan Hospital plans to use the donations for ▲prevention of industrial accidents ▲treatment of industrial accident patients ▲promotion of welfare for hospital workers, etc.
In addition to the donation, SK Materials Airplus provided 500 cleansing foams as souvenirs to Ansan Hospital workers. The souvenir was purchased from social venture ‘Pinozen’ (developing cosmetics using pine byproducts) that was selected for the ‘STAXX Project’ by SK Materials, which promotes the creation of a startup ecosystem and economic revitalization in Yeongju, Gyeongbuk.
SK Materials Airplus Strategic Marketing Director Yang Jae-hoon said, “This agreement ceremony was held in cooperation with our best partners to spread a safety culture,” and added, “We will do our best to create a safe industrial workplace by prepaying industrial safety and health management expenses for our partners and increasing the weight of safety items when evaluating our partners.”
Ansan Hospital Director Lim Ho-young said, “We are grateful for the efforts that SK Materials Airplus has shown to ensure safety in industrial sites,” and “The donation will be used to treat patients suffering from industrial accidents.”
