Tektronix, a leader in test and measurement solutions, has introduced a new oscilloscope that doubles response time and enhances functionality with a powerful user interface and remote operation.

Tektronix today unveiled the 4 Series B mixed signal oscilloscope (MSO) with cutting-edge measurement performance capabilities on all channels.

Designed for embedded designers demanding accuracy, versatility, and ease of use, these new products deliver the same cutting-edge signal accuracy as the existing 4 Series, with bandwidths from 200 MHz to 1.5 GHz, real-time sampling to 6.25 GS/s, and up to 16-bit vertical resolution.

It features an upgraded processor system while providing the same award-winning touch-only user interface. The 4 Series B MSO's user interface is twice as responsive as before, significantly improving advanced analysis speeds.

The 4 Series B MSO supports up to six input channels, making it ideal for three-phase power analysis, and its exclusive Spectrum View provides multi-channel spectrum analysis synchronized with the time-domain waveform.

The upgraded processor system accelerates not only front panel operations but also remote operation speeds. The 4 Series B MSO can be accessed and controlled remotely via a simple web browser, dedicated TekScope PC software, or user programs through a full programming interface.

The 4 Series B significantly improves response times for more than 25 serial decode packages in chip-to-chip, automotive, power, aerospace, and more, and also improves algorithm and plotting speeds for existing analysis packages used in power supply measurements, motor drive analysis, and double-pulse testing.
