'Hexagon DX Executive Forum' held
Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, a global leader in digital reality solutions combining sensors, software, and autonomous technologies, presents a strategy for achieving digital transformation (DX) and carbon neutrality to strengthen the competitiveness of domestic manufacturing.
Hexagon announced that it will hold the 'Hexagon DX Executive Forum' at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas on August 29th.
At this event, Hexagon plans to share its digital transformation (DX) and net-zero (Net-ZERO) strategies, which are essential for strengthening the competitiveness of the domestic manufacturing industry.
The Hexagon DX Forum brings together leaders in the domestic manufacturing industry to discuss factory automation, autonomy, and achieving sustainability. At this forum, Hexagon will present successful DX and sustainable management strategies on the topics of AI-driven autonomous manufacturing and carbon neutrality, as a partner supporting manufacturing companies in achieving their digital transformation and carbon neutrality goals.
The event will focus on digital innovation cases and sustainable management strategies through keynote speeches, sessions, and exhibitions.
The keynote speech will be given by Professor Jeon Chang-rok of the IGM World Management Institute, and will be on the topic of ‘How to Grow Exponentially in the AI Era.’ Professor Jeon Chang-rok will go beyond viewing AI as a simple tool and discuss how to utilize AI as a strategic asset to maximize corporate growth from a humanistic perspective.
In the following sessions, Hexagon’s global and domestic executives will share digital innovation cases for sustainable management. Erik Josefsson, CEO of R-evolution, a subsidiary of Hexagon AB, the parent company of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, which aims to reduce CO2 emissions and expand the sustainable economy by utilizing Hexagon’s advanced technologies, will present on ‘Digital Innovation from Energy to Nature.’
Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence Korea Vice President Seok-Kwan Hong and General Manager Woo-Young Lee plan to share Hexagon’s successful cases of autonomous manufacturing and carbon neutrality under the topics of ‘Hexagon Automation and DX Technology for Building an Eco-Friendly Manufacturing Industry Environment’ and ‘The Need for Real Data-Based Process Carbon Emissions and LCA Methods,’ respectively.
The exhibition will provide an opportunity to experience Hexagon's various solutions and new products introduced in the session. Hexagon’s digital transformation case studies and green tech portfolio are applied in various fields such as hydrogen, batteries, energy, autonomous manufacturing, and data platforms, and include the world’s largest nature-based carbon capture monitoring system, design and operation of an eco-friendly hydrogen plant, battery recycling demonstration support, and support for a carbon-free energy factory. In addition, a spatial scanning demo will be conducted with Hexagon’s affiliate Leica Geosystems to showcase a solar farm solution.
“This Hexagon DX Executive Forum has chosen sustainability as a key topic, as it is an essential element for enhancing the competitiveness of manufacturing companies,” said Sung Brian, CEO of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence Korea. “Hexagon will actively support manufacturing companies to accelerate their transition to a sustainable economy through digital reality solutions.” He added, “We hope that industry leaders who will drive the development of the domestic manufacturing industry will gain innovative insights and experiences through this event.”
