Schneider announced on the 22nd that it is providing comprehensive consulting to help companies achieve their ESG (environmental, social, and governance) management goals.

As climate change and resource depletion issues worsen, carbon-neutral strategies and ESG practices are emerging as essential elements in corporate management. Accordingly, governments around the world are strengthening greenhouse gas emission regulations, and investors and consumers are also increasingly using ESG management as a criterion for evaluating companies.

In response to this trend, Schneider Electric Korea provides a 'Sustainability Consulting Framework' consisting of three core axes: Strategize, Digitize, and Decarbonize, and supports companies to achieve their actual carbon reduction goals.

Schneider Electric's sustainability consulting begins with analyzing a company's greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1, 2, 3) and establishing a customized reduction scenario.

This will help each company assess its environmental impact and develop a practical roadmap for carbon neutrality.

It also plays a role in establishing a climate risk assessment system and designing a long-term sustainability strategy linked to greenhouse gas reduction.

Digitalization to achieve ESG goals is one of Schneider Electric’s core strategies.

Schneider Electric uses its ‘Resource Advisor’ and ‘PME (Power Monitoring Expert)’ solutions to integrate ESG data and enable real-time monitoring.

This will enable companies to establish a data-driven management system that can respond to global ESG disclosure standards and precisely manage emissions.

In particular, Schneider Electric is introducing a ‘DC distribution solution’ to maximize energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions in industrial sites.

DC distribution solutions reduce distribution losses by up to 70% compared to existing AC-based facilities and apply hybrid AC/DC methods. It enables energy efficiency improvements of up to 10%.

To this end, we provide integrated DC distribution solutions based on core equipment such as AC/DC converters, solid-state circuit breakers, DC busways, and DC MCCBs.

Schneider Electric operates a company-wide energy efficiency improvement program to achieve its decarbonization goals and provides a renewable energy procurement program that extends to its supply chain.

We are also promoting renewable energy projects based on PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) in cooperation with major domestic and foreign companies.

From 2023 to 2024, we provided consulting services for the procurement of renewable energy for LG Energy Solution's Polish business site.
