Building a hyper-scale AI data center and cooperating with MEPs across all areas
Schneider Electric (Korea Branch Representative Kwon Ji-woong), a global company leading the digital innovation in energy management and automation, is joining hands with SK Telecom (CEO Yoo Young-sang) to develop and build an MEP system for an AI data center, contributing to the construction of a hyper-scale AI data center in Korea.
Schneider signed an MOU with SKT for cooperation in the field of AI data center MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems at MWC 25 held in Barcelona, Spain.
The MEP system of an AI data center plays a key role in maintaining the stability and efficiency of the data center from the construction stage.
Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to build a hyper-scale AI data center in Korea and establish a comprehensive cooperation system including parts, solutions, and consulting in all MEP fields.
By combining SK Telecom's technological prowess with Schneider Electric's integrated power, cooling, and security management solution technology, we expect to see synergy effects in the data center management field.
In addition, we plan to develop joint solutions through long-term cooperation and expand our business into the global AI data center market.
Schneider Electric is already optimizing AI data center infrastructure through collaboration with Microsoft and Nvidia. and has demonstrated achievements in the development of digital twin technology.
