The Ryzen 8000G series desktop processors feature built-in graphics and can be used for gaming and content creation, while the processors in the upper stack utilize Ryzen AI technology to optimize AI workloads, it explained.
AMD Ryzen 8000 series processors feature next-generation personal AI processing. Equipped with AMD XDNA NPU architecture, Ryzen AI is described as having a total processing power of up to 39 TFLOPs.
In an AI performance comparison, AMD boasted of the following benefits: △AI processing performance of 1.79 times higher in Deeplab v3 and 1.43 times higher in Yolo v8, △1.02 to 1.6 times higher in gaming performance, and △1.81 times higher in power efficiency per watt compared to the Intel Ultra 7 155H product, using the Ryzen 7 8840U as an example.
The newly released 8000G series detailed specifications include the AMD Ryzen 7 8700G, which consists of 8 cores, 16 threads, up to 5.1GHz boost clock, 24MB cache, 65W TDP, and AMD Radeon 780M integrated graphics.
The AMD Ryzen 5 8600G has 6 cores, 12 threads, up to 5.0GHz boost clock, 22MB cache, 65W TDP, and AMD Radeon 760M integrated graphics. The AMD Ryzen 5 8500G has the same specifications as the 8600G, but has Radeon 740M integrated graphics. The AMD Ryzen 3 8300G has 4 cores, 8 threads, up to 4.9GHz boost clock, 12MB cache, 65W TDP, and AMD Radeon 740 integrated graphics.
The AMD Radeon 700M series graphics, which are equipped with built-in graphics, are said to show superior performance compared to previous models and competing products in terms of fluid frame and full HD gaming performance.
AMD has secured an AI portfolio across all areas, from data center to mobile, edge, and desktop side. AMD cited performance, security, future costs, and efficiency as reasons why AI PCs are needed.
AMD said the AI PC “doesn’t have to wait for the server to allocate time and resources, and can use the performance and security features as much as it wants.” It also said, “Having the AI model locally means that the local information does not need to be shared with a server somewhere, which means that the AI training model does not need to share local information,” and “This means that local AI has a future cost advantage.”
■ New AMD Ryzen 5000 Series In this announcement, AMD revealed the specifications and prices of the Ryzen 7 5700X3D, Ryzen 5 5500GT, and 5600GT.
The Ryzen 7 5700X3D consists of △8 cores, 16 threads, △up to 4.1GHz boost clock, △100MB cache, and △105W TDP. The price is set at $249. The Ryzen 7 5700X3D has improved the memory bottleneck between the memory and CPU by applying 3D V-cache technology. It is reported that you can experience improved gaming performance as a result.
The Ryzen 5 5600GT is equipped with Radeon graphics with △6 cores, 12 threads, △up to 4.6GHz boost clock, △19MB cache, and △65W TDP.
The Ryzen 5 5500GT also features △6 cores, 12 threads, △up to 4.4GHz boost clock, △19MB cache, and △65 TDP with Radeon graphics. The price is set at the cheapest $125.

As games become increasingly high-spec, gamers are increasingly experiencing frame drops in high-performance 3D games. In response, PC chip makers are releasing even higher-performance graphics card solutions.
AMD has unveiled a new lineup of Radeon GPUs. Following the introduction of the AMD Radeon RX 7600 last year, gaming performance has been taken to the next level with the high-performance XT products.
The high-performance Radeon RX 7600 XT features a 2.47GHz game clock, a 2.76GHz boost clock, 16GB GDDR6 memory, 18Gbps memory speed, and 190W power.
AMD says there are improvements in gaming, ray tracing, and performance at 1440 pixels compared to the previous generation. The Radeon RX 7600 XT will launch at $329, which is 20 percent higher than the launch price of the RX 7600.
