NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Series Unveiled
NVIDIA has unveiled its new GeForce lineup, designed to maximize performance in modern games and form the core of AI-powered PCs.
NVIDIA announced a new lineup of GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series GPUs on the 10th. The lineup includes the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER.
The latest RTX 40 SUPER series GPUs are based on the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture. They are expected to support up to 52 TFLOPS, 121 RT TFLOPS, and 836 AI TOPS, providing the performance needed for gaming and creation.
△AI-based NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) super resolution △Frame generation △Ray reconstruction, etc. are combined with ray tracing. It was explained that DLSS can generate 7 out of 8 pixels with AI, accelerating full ray tracing up to 4 times and improving image quality.
The new GeForce RTX SUPER GPUs bring AI to your PC. The specialized AI Tensor Core supports up to 836 AI TOPS, providing innovative functions for AI not only in gaming and creation, but also in everyday productivity.
A vast software stack built on RTX GPUs accelerates AI. TensorRT software for high-performance deep learning inference includes deep learning inference optimizers and runtimes that deliver low latency and high throughput for inference applications.
TensorRT-LLM for Windows is an open source library that accelerates the inference performance of modern large-scale language models. In AI workloads, the GeForce RTX 4080 Super generates video up to 1.5x faster and images up to 1.7x faster than the RTX 3080 Ti.
For games, AI-based DLSS enhances in-game immersion. In addition, generative AI applications like Adobe Photoshop leverage Tensor Cores to accelerate productivity and support creative workflows. NVIDIA Broadcast removes background noise and provides a smooth virtual background to enhance productivity.
“GeForce RTX Super cards support more than 500 RTX games and applications, preparing you for the coming wave of generative AI apps for PCs,” said Matt Wuebbling, vice president of global GeForce marketing at NVIDIA.
