누보톤테크놀로지가 차세대 고성능 NuMicro M463 마이크로컨트롤러(MCU) 시리즈를 8일 공개했다.
Ensures operation in harsh high temperature environments
Nuvoton Technology unveiled its next-generation high-performance NuMicro M463 microcontroller (MCU) series on the 8th.
The M463 series is equipped with a 200MHz Arm Cortex-M4 processor and has an extended operating temperature range of –40°C to 125°C, ensuring stable operation even under extreme conditions such as harsh high-temperature environments.
In addition, it supports △dual CAN-FD △HS USB communication function △256KB programmable memory △128KB SRAM △rich peripheral interfaces △sufficient storage and operating space, and is utilized in automotive electrical supply chains and industrial applications.
The NuMicro M463 series supports wake-up interfaces with various power operation modes at ultra-low power consumption of less than 200nA. It also features a built-in DSP instruction set and a single-precision floating point unit (FPU).
In addition, it includes: △hardware encryption/decryption engine △hardware key storage △true random number generator (TRNG) △secure boot (provides Root of Trust function) △2 sets of CAN FD △1 set of USB high-speed OTG △up to 24 channels of 16-bit PWM output △8 UARTs △4 SPI/I²S △2 Quad-SPIs △5 I²Cs △real-time clock (RTC).
It integrates analog components, including △2 sets of analog comparators and △12-bit, 16-channel SAR ADC.
Nuvoton provides the M463 series with the NuMaker-M463KG development board and Nu-Link debugger tool. The tool is compatible with various development environments such as Keil MDK, IAR EWARM, and Eclipse IDE with GNU GCC, allowing developers to seamlessly create, debug, and deploy applications, and streamline the product release process.
Nuvoton stated that the NuMicro M463 microcontroller series “strengthens Nuvoton’s position in the microcontroller field by continuously driving innovation in microcontroller technology and maintaining its commitment to providing high-performance, secure products that meet customer demands in a dynamically evolving market.”
