AMD has unveiled its latest graphics card, a 4K resolution gaming and streaming card with AI accelerators.

AMD announced on the 27th that it has released the AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE graphics card to the global market.

The AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE graphics card, which offers high refresh rate 1440p resolution gaming and streaming experiences with 16GB of GDDR6 memory, was released in major global online and offline stores from the 27th (US local time), and the recommended retail price is set at $549.

This new product features 80 compute units and ray accelerators, 16GB GDDR6 VRAM clocked at 18Gbps, 160 AI accelerators, 64MB of 2nd generation AMD Infinity Cache, and 260W TBP.

AMD says its Radeon RX 7900 GRE graphics card delivers up to 14 percent more frames per second on average than the competing GeForce RTX 4070 across a variety of popular gaming titles.

Boasting high FPS across multiple game titles, the Radeon RX 7900 GRE emphasizes that it delivers tremendous performance improvements and smooth gameplay across multiple titles by increasing game FPS with driver-based AFMF frame generation technology.

AMD Hyper-RX technology △AFMF △AMD Radeon Super Resolution △AMD Radeon Boost △ Supports AMD Anti-Lag technology for easier simultaneous interoperability, providing a performance stack effect.

Additionally, the AMD Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards are said to support next-generation DisplayPort 2.1 and offer more VRAM than competing products, supporting current and upcoming game titles and cutting-edge displays.

The AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE will be available through various AMD board partners, including Acer, Asrock, Asus, Gigabyte, PowerColor, Sapphire, and XFX.

Meanwhile, AMD announced that it has cut the price of its high-performance, versatile AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT graphics card capable of running games and content creation applications. The price has been reduced by $30 to $419.
