NVIDIA, leading the AI computing era, is hosting a big AI event. It has raised expectations by announcing the holding of GTC 2024, a global artificial intelligence conference for developers where developers, engineers, researchers, and IT experts will gather in one place.

NVIDIA announced on the 15th that it plans to lay the foundation for another leap forward in AI at the NVIDIA GTC 2024 AI conference.

The opening keynote speech by NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang, which can be said to be the core of this year's GTC 2024, has been garnering much anticipation even before the event.

CEO Jensen Huang's keynote speech will be held simultaneously online and offline at the SAP Center in San Jose, California at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday the 19th (Korean time). The keynote speech can also be viewed live online.

The featured session, Transforming AI, brings together Jensen Huang, the creators of Transformers, and industry pioneers to discuss the birth and impact of the Transformer neural network architecture.

It has been reported that all eight authors of the paper introducing the concept of Transformers in 2017 are planning to attend. It will be held from 3 AM on Thursday the 21st (Korean time), and the eight authors of the paper are Asish Vaswani, Noam Shazir, Niki Palmer, Jacob Uskorate, Lion Jones, Aiden Ann Gomez, Lukasz Kaiser, and Ilya Poloskin.

Leaders from various industries leading the AI era will also gather in one place. Participants include Igor Babushkin, co-founder of xAI, Sebastian Verbeck, VP of GenAI at Microsoft, Fei-Fei Li of Stanford University, Joel Pino, VP of Research at Meta AI, Brad Lightcap, Chief Operating Officer of OpenAI, David Luan, founder and CEO of Adept AI, Raquel Urtasun, founder and CEO of Warbi, and Arthur Mensch, CEO of Mistral.

With workshops and networking opportunities to connect with experts, GTC’s session catalogue this year covers a wide range of topics from robotics to generative AI, showcasing real-world applications and the latest AI innovations.

GTC 2024 consists of visionary speakers and a variety of programs covering the core of AI and computing. NVIDIA said that this GTC will provide beneficial opportunities and experiences that can lead the change in AI.
