Support for expanding the CEO's internal and external roles

SK Hynix has established a CEO support organization and appointed Song Hyeon-jong as its new CEO after his promotion to president, to support the expansion of the CEO's internal and external roles.
SK Hynix announced on the 24th that it will establish a 'Corporate Center' to support CEO Kwak No-jeong's decision-making as its status in the global AI semiconductor market rises and the role of the CEO expands.
The newly established 'Corporate Center' directly under the CEO will coordinate the functions of the entire company's support organization by organizing the strategy, finance, corporate culture, and purchasing departments. Song Hyeon-jong, who was in charge of the Corporate Center, was promoted to president and appointed.
President Song, who took charge of the Corporate Center as of July 1, has been performing tasks such as supporting decision-making and providing insight related to SK Group’s semiconductor business at SK Corporation.
President Song was born in 1965 and graduated from Seoul National University and its graduate school of economics, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Graduate School of Business Administration. He joined SK Telecom in 2003 and served as the IR Director, Growth Strategy Group Director, Future Management Director, and Management Support Group Director. He moved to SK Hynix in 2012 and served as the Future Strategy Headquarters Director and Marketing/Sales Manager, and is known to have a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of management.
