NVIDIA’s DPUs, GPUs, AI enterprise software and Dell’s new PowerEdge servers combine to help enterprises accelerate AI workload performance and build a foundation for zero-trust security.

NVIDIA (CEO Jensen Huang), a leader in artificial intelligence (AI) computing technology, announced on the 31st a new data center solution designed for the AI era together with Dell Technologies.

The solution provides cutting-edge AI training, AI inference, data processing, data science, and zero-trust security capabilities to enterprises worldwide.

The solution combines Dell PowerEdge servers with NVIDIA BlueField® DPUs, NVIDIA GPUs and NVIDIA AI enterprise software, and is optimized for the VMware vSphere 8 enterprise workload platform.

Enterprises can experience this combination of technologies through NVIDIA LaunchPad, a hands-on lab program that provides access to hardware and software for end-to-end workflows in AI, data science, and more.

“As compute and networking workloads proliferate, AI and zero-trust security are becoming increasingly important across the globe,” said Manuvir Das, general manager of NVIDIA Enterprise Computing.“VMware vSphere 8 is a powerful force driving enterprises to redesign their data centers. It offloads, accelerates, isolates and secures data center infrastructure services with NVIDIA BlueField DPUs, freeing up compute resources to power the intelligence factories of enterprises around the world,” he said.

“Dell’s long-standing collaboration with NVIDIA on the next generation of GPU-accelerated data centers has driven tremendous innovation,” said Travis Vigil, senior vice president, portfolio and product management, Dell Technologies Infrastructure Solutions Group. “Now, with a solution that brings NVIDIA’s powerful BlueField DPU to the PowerEdge server platform alongside NVIDIA GPUs, we’re continuing our collaboration to provide customers with the performance and security features they need to solve a range of challenges.”
