Data for Breakfast held… March 14th, Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Grand Ballroom Vendome

Snowflake, a global data cloud company, shares its strategy for building a data foundation to create new businesses in the AI era.
Snowflake will be holding its annual conference, 'Data for Breakfast', to support data-driven growth of domestic companies on March 14th at 10:00 AM at the Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Grand Ballroom Vendome.
'Data for Breakfast' is an annual event held in over 100 major cities around the world, including Seoul, and this year marks the third time it is being held in Korea.
Keynote speakers for this event include Snowflake CFO Mike Scarpelli, Snowflake Senior Director of Products Chris Child, and Snowflake Korea Country Manager Kiyoung Choi.
This event is designed to share insights into an organization's data strategy for potential customers considering adopting Snowflake, as well as customers and partners who do not yet have much experience with the data cloud.
In addition to the keynote speech, BC Card, a Snowflake client, will go beyond being a simple data provider and provide data-based solutions through its data transaction platform, Marketplace. As a provider, I plan to share my experience in activating my business.
There will also be a panel discussion with three 'Data Superheroes', data experts certified by Snowflake, who were recently selected for the first time in Korea.
Lee Su-hyeon, Snowflake Evangelist, will share vividly the data strategies that Korean companies need to have in the AI era and their experiences in operating data-based businesses in the field with three data superheroes: Lee Jae-myeon, a data engineer at Nexon Korea, Han Ye-seong, a software engineer at The Pinkfong Company, and Choi Kyung-jin, team leader of the Cloud SA data team at Megazone Cloud. Booths operated by partner companies will introduce data-based collaboration solutions and use cases inherited from the Snowflake ecosystem.
“Data is the key element that led to the inception and development of generative AI and large-scale language models (LLMs), which have emerged as innovative technologies,” said Choi Ki-young, CEO of Snowflake. “As a flexible and innovative data platform, Snowflake will help customers strengthen their data strategies and support all data workloads, helping them quickly and efficiently prepare for the rapidly growing era of generative AI.”
As a strategic partner with data and AI capabilities, Snowflake builds a strong data foundation and manages data systematically and securely so that business leaders can strengthen data-driven decision-making. Businesses can maximize the value of data by easily handling data that has been desiloed across the organization.
