데이터브릭스(Databricks)가 강형준 데이터브릭스 코리아 대표 겸 지사장 및 엄경순 데이터브릭스 코리아 기술 총괄 부사장을 신규 선임했다.

Industry-leading data and AI company Databricks strengthens its presence in the Korean market with the appointment of new executives.
Databricks announced on the 15th that it recently appointed Hyungjun Kang as CEO and branch manager of Databricks Korea.
Kang Hyung-jun, CEO and president of Databricks Korea, is an expert with over 20 years of experience and extensive leadership in the data software industry.
Based on this experience, he will lead Databricks’ Korean business going forward and take the lead in promoting the adoption of the Databricks data intelligence platform in various industries. The appointment of CEO Kang comes as Databricks recorded 100% growth in Korea in the last fiscal year compared to the previous year.
Prior to joining Databricks, he served as the Country Manager of Google Cloud Korea and previously as Country Manager of Snowflake Korea. He has also held key positions at Cloudera, Hortonworks, and Teradata, where he led business growth.

Meanwhile, Databricks has also hired Kyungsoon Eom, Vice President of Technology at Databricks Korea.
Vice President Kyung-Soon Eom has over 30 years of experience implementing technology solutions and supporting digital transformation journeys. Prior to joining Databricks, he served as the Chief Technology Officer at Google Cloud Korea and has held various executive positions in the Asia Pacific region for over 30 years at IBM.
