SUSE AI with Generative AI Launches, Provides Zero Trust Security
SUSE®, a global leader in innovative, open, and secure enterprise-grade solutions, has solved the security challenges of enterprises with SUSE AI, which provides control, privacy, and trust to enterprises implementing open source AI solutions.
SUSE recently announced the launch of SUSE AI, a secure and reliable platform for deploying and running GenAI applications. SUSE AI was launched at KubeCon North America 2024, taking place November 12-15 in Salt Lake City.
Delivered as an integrated cloud-native solution, SUSE AI delivers flexibility and scalability by default.
It also leverages large-scale language models (LLMs) and empowers enterprises to have complete control over their AI solutions with choice and sovereignty.
It also addresses security and compliance challenges that enterprises face as they move from AI experimentation to deployment.
SUSE AI provides tools that provide security and authentication at the software infrastructure level, as well as templates and playbooks for zero-trust security and compliance.
SUSE AI helps you keep all use and processing of sensitive and personal data private, significantly reducing the risk of data breaches and unauthorized access.
Additionally, SUSE AI allows customers to trust their AI solutions: trusting the security of the platform, trusting that the data generated is accurate, and trusting that personal customer and IP data remains private. Well-managed AI can be deployed wherever business requires it: on-premises, hybrid, cloud, and even air-gapped environments.
Enterprises can future-proof themselves by leveraging AI components available as part of SUSE AI or by bringing their own AI tools to accommodate unique use cases and growing workloads.
Additionally, SUSE AI provides customers with choice by providing a secure platform from which they can select all AI components. Customers have full control over platform optimization and scaling, as well as the flexibility to select and deploy large-scale language models (LLMs).
“AI is incredibly powerful, but it also has the potential to be damaging and reputational if left unchecked. As the value and need for GenAI becomes clearer, we are seeing customers struggling with compliance risks, shadow AI, and lack of control, not to mention the vendor lock-in and skyrocketing costs associated with early-stage AI solutions,” said Abhinav Puri, vice president of Portfolio Solutions at SUSE. “SUSE’s approach to AI, delivered through SUSE AI Solutions and the SUSE AI Early Access Program, helps customers address these challenges.”
