MS Power Platform Exclusive Connector Released, Minimum Coding
Snowflake, a global AI data cloud company, has joined hands with Microsoft to simplify AI app development, giving wings to data innovation.
Snowflake announced on the 18th at Microsoft Ignite, the annual developer conference held in Seattle, USA, that it has launched a connector dedicated to the Microsoft Power Platform.
The Snowflake Power Platform Connector supports bidirectional data sharing between DataVers and the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.
This significantly improves data interoperability between Microsoft’s low-code/no-code product line and Dynamics 365.
Enterprises can easily develop custom AI applications and gain business insights using Snowflake data.
Developers can build apps with minimal coding, and IT staff can shorten the time spent managing development resources.
Snowflake and Microsoft announced bidirectional data sharing via Apache Iceberg earlier this year.
The current data sharing capability is in public preview, with the ability to leverage Snowflake data in Dataverse expected in early 2025.
“Snowflake’s collaboration with Microsoft is a great way for customers to embrace data-centric business models,” said Christian Kleinermann, Senior Vice President at Snowflake.“It will contribute to gaining business insights,” he said.
“This partnership will help developers build powerful AI-driven applications,” said Microsoft corporate vice president Charles Lamanna.
