Google Cloud has been officially recognized for the reliability and security of its Seoul region operating environment and major cloud services.

Google Cloud announced on the 3rd that it has received the Cloud Service Security Certification System (CSAP) 'Low' level (for multiple groups) certification hosted by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

With this certification, Google Cloud plans to expand collaboration with domestic public sector customers.

The Cloud Service Security Certification System is a certification system established to improve and guarantee the level of information protection of cloud services, and KISA focused on evaluating major cloud services such as computing, storage, networking, database, and security of Google Cloud Seoul Region.

Since starting operations in the Seoul region in February 2020, Google Cloud has successfully completed K-ISMS and K-FSI certifications and has been steadily supporting domestic private and financial customers.

Google Cloud has proven the safety and reliability of its cloud services by holding more than 43 global and regional security certifications, including ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 27001, FedRAMP, and PCI DSS.

We also work closely with regulators and designated independent organizations to validate the platform security, privacy, and compliance capabilities of our cloud customers around the world.

With this security certification, Google Cloud will be able to provide services to a wider range of countries and public organizations.Google Cloud services can now be provided to public institutions. Accordingly, Google Cloud plans to actively support public sector customers to comply with relevant regulations and maximize the use of Google Cloud services.
