As the emergence of next-generation technologies and products such as AI, IoT, autonomous driving, wireless charging, and 5G/6G accelerates, the needs in the radio industry are also increasing significantly. Accordingly, events are scheduled to be held during the Radio Promotion Week to share trends related to radio waves and answer questions from those seeking employment in the radio wave field.

The 24th Radio Broadcasting Industry Promotion Week will be held on the 13th at DDP in Seoul, as well as in Gwangju and Jeonnam.

Hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and co-organized by the Radio Promotion Association (RAPA), the Korea Broadcasting and Communications Agency (KCA), and the Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science, this event will feature seminars and forums to promote industry by sharing policy and technology trends under the slogan, “Digital Co-Prosperity Society Expanding through Radio Waves.”

Starting with the opening ceremony on the 13th at DDP in Seoul, the following events will be held: △Wireless Station Electromagnetic Wave Evaluation System Workshop △Next Broadcasting Video Production Seminar △Spectrum Forum Seminar; △Mid- to Long-Term Radio Policy Discussion △Radio Future Leadership Seminar △Wireless Power Transmission Conference on the 14th; and △Ieum 5G Convergence Service Case Seminar on the morning of the 15th.

The 4th Radio Future Leaders Seminar, held at the DDP Conference Hall on the 14th, is a seminar hosted by the Korea Radio Promotion Association, where information on the current state of the industry and the capabilities needed for employment will be shared for future workers in the radio industry.

Current students, unemployed people, and people who wish to change careers or return to work in the radio field are eligible to attend. Participation is possible offline as well as through live streaming on YouTube's Rapha TV.

The program includes: △Ha Do-hoon, SK Telecom Vice President, My Own Competitiveness Increased with AI Big Data △Shin Jae-gon, Autonomous A2Z Director, Smart Mobility Autonomous Shareholder△Park Hak-byeong, Senior Vice President of Samsung Electronics, will discuss changes in electromagnetic wave design/analysis methods brought about by AI; △Kim Hee-chul, Managing Director of Telit, will discuss 5G/6G technology outlook and promising employment fields;

Applications for the Radio Future Leadership Seminar are being accepted through the Radio Promotion Association of Korea (RAPA) and the Radio Broadcasting and Communication Education Center.
