Atlas Identity Security Platform Core Features
Customized system integration and enterprise application support
SailPoint Technologies announced a major update to its Atlas identity security platform, SailPoint Connectivity, which helps connect, extend and integrate identity security systems with core applications.
“Sailpoint Connectivity significantly reduces customers’ time to value from security,” said Sailpoint. “New connectivity features enable them to connect to a multitude of applications and systems more securely and efficiently.”
The SailPoint Connector helps enterprises secure business-critical applications by integrating applications, significantly improving the implementation time for enterprise-wide identity security integration.
With this update, SailPoint has increased the number of supported enterprise and custom applications to 1,100 and 20,000 respectively.
SailPoint Connectivity supports connectivity across all industries and verticals. It also natively integrates with low-code connectivity tools that enable SailPoint’s identity security solutions to effectively integrate with enterprises’ core applications, software and systems.
SailPoint’s recently launched SailPoint Identity Security Cloud Application Onboarding AI feature recommends identity security policies that fit the lifecycle of unmanaged applications, including suggested configuration options, trusted identity and account correlation, and simplified overall application connectivity.
“Enterprise security requires immediate and continuous solutions, with baseline visibility into all application access as a top priority,” said Grady Summers, vice president of products at Sailpoint. “With tens of thousands of connectivity options and strategic integrations, Sailpoint Connectivity provides customers with unified identity security capabilities for the applications they use every day, backed by deep insights.” “We help customers achieve business efficiency and value realization by efficiently and safely protecting access to their applications,” he explained.
“Salepoint is one of the few vendors that provides a security solution that makes it easier for organizations to create strategic value,” said Lachlan McGill, director of cyber risk and compliance at The Salvation Army. “The integrated solution that Salepoint offers is invaluable to us, and the ease of implementing custom connectors makes it easier to report on identity control performance to our board and other internal executives.”
“We were impressed by the fact that Salepoint’s solution seamlessly connected to our existing SAP ECC and HANA S4,” said Nicholas Rossiter, Currys’ Head of Technology Risk. “Salepoint’s connectors and system integration capabilities were invaluable. They also helped automate the integration process with our legacy systems through APIs, helping us to establish a successful security posture.”
