Presenting a new HR model, from talent recruitment to career and job search
SAP has unleashed the potential of its employees through a human resources management solution that uses generative AI, and has led to innovations in the way employees are recruited and worked.
SAP announced on the 16th that its cloud human resources solution SAP SuccessFactors successfully held the 'SAP HR Connect Seoul 2023' event, an event for HR and IT executives and employees of domestic companies.
A total of 1,000 customers and partners, including 250 on-site attendees, participated in the event to share insights and various cases.
SAP SuccessFactors held SAP HR Connect Seoul 2023 on the 16th under the theme of ‘HR Innovation Written by AI: Unleashing Employee Potential’ and introduced innovative ways to realize employee potential and work methods using next-generation technologies such as artificial intelligence. />
Angela Colantuono, General Manager, SAP SuccessFactors Asia Pacific, and Stacy Chapman, Group Vice President, Data and Analytics Product Management, SAP SuccessFactors, delivered keynote speeches, presenting the latest AI-driven HR and technology trends, as well as the latest changes and future of SAP SuccessFactors solutions.
SAP SuccessFactors announced that AI technology is being actively applied across the SAP SuccessFactors Human Experience Management (HXM) suite, which will provide new experiences in all areas of HR, from talent recruitment to career planning, candidate search, and learning and performance management.
As a specific example, SAP SuccessFactors introduced the function of automatically writing job descriptions and recommending customized learning content for employees by applying the generative AI copilot 'Joule' announced earlier this year, and the function of providing visibility into talent needed by companies and future workforce plans through the AI-based Talent Intelligence Hub.
Additionally, SAP SuccessFactors announced the official establishment of the Korea SAP SuccessFactors User Group at this event. SAP SuccessFactors plans to provide better services based on the establishment of a user group to help domestic customers using SAP SuccessFactors form networks, share know-how, and actively express opinions.
At this event, HR field managers from five domestic clients, including Hyundai Motor Group Singapore Global Innovation Center (HMGICS), LG Energy Solution, GC녹십자, Seegene Co., Ltd., and Woomi Construction, directly introduced SAP adoption cases.
Hyundai Motor Group Singapore Global Innovation Center (HMGICS) is Hyundai Motor Group’s first smart factory and a test bed for future manufacturing technology innovation. At HMGICS, HR also needed a new approach that was different from the conventional method. We shared examples of implementing innovative HR practices from the perspective of employee experience (EX) for ‘application of new HR paradigm’ and ‘global deployment’ that can accelerate innovation.
LG Energy Solution shared the SINGLEX HR case, which proactively responded to the global electric vehicle era while simultaneously implementing rapid domestic and international integrated HR while improving HR capabilities.
GC Green Cross presented a case study of organizational simulation and appointment linkage functions required for organizational restructuring, along with 'ORG Insight', a software that provides functions specialized for domestic organizational management based on SAP SuccessFactors.
Seegene Co., Ltd. presented a case study of implementing a global integrated human resources system through SAP SuccessFactors during the COVID-19 period, linking and integrating financial and human resources information, and establishing a data-based decision-making system in the process of rapid growth not only in the domestic market but also in the global market.
Woomi Construction announced the introduction and operation of the SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System module to provide education for employees to learn for the future and improve job competencies required in the construction industry in line with its corporate vision of being a ‘leading first-class comprehensive real estate company.’
Park Se-jin, head of domestic headquarters of SAP SuccessFactors, said, “SAP SuccessFactors is very encouraging in that it is supporting HR innovation of leading domestic clients based on innovative solutions,” and “In the future, we will further support HR innovation of various domestic and foreign companies based on solutions that actively incorporate more innovative AI technologies such as the generative AI copilot ‘Joule.’”
