Cloud Solution AI Expansion Application Security Enhancement
Cisco is expanding AI applications to its cloud solutions and strengthening security with the launch of its Security AI Assistant.
Cisco held its annual network and security event, 'Cisco Live 2023 Melbourne', from the 5th to the 8th in Melbourne, Australia.
At this event, Cisco unveiled the 'Cisco AI Assistant for Security', which helps support information-based decision making, automation of complex tasks, and increased tool usability.
With this solution, Cisco has made progress by expanding the application of AI to its AI-based integrated cross-domain security platform, Cisco Security Cloud.
Cisco solutions that provide unmatched visibility into network and security use machine-based, high-volume telemetry at an industry-leading scale.
The newly launched Cisco Security AI Assistant is trained on world-class security-specific data that analyzes more than 550 billion security events per day across the web, email, endpoints, networks, and applications.
Based on this, various security incidents such as classification, impact, scope, root cause analysis, and policy design of events can be analyzed. It aims to understand the aspects and help customers keep their systems safe with cybersecurity.
This feature is built safely and securely, using Cisco’s Responsible AI Framework to ensure that security, privacy, and human rights are not violated.
“To lead in AI, you must be a data-first company. Cisco is delivering differentiated cybersecurity solutions that empower enterprises to operate confidently at machine scale, with massive telemetry to augment what humans can do alone,” said Jeetu Patel, vice president and general manager, Security and Collaboration, Cisco. “With this new technology and the adoption of AI across the Cisco Security Cloud, Cisco is announcing a monumental achievement that will benefit customers looking to defend against security attacks.”
