유블럭스가 자사 ZED-F9P 고정밀 GNSS 모듈의 펌웨어 업데이트를 통해 Galileo OSNMA(Open Service Navigation Message Authentication) 지원을 시작했다.
OSNMA Firmware Update

u-blox (Sungkyunkwan University, www.u-blox.com), a global leader in positioning and wireless communication technologies, has enhanced GNSS spoofing detection and jamming detection performance through a firmware update.
u-blox announced today that its ZED-F9P high-precision GNSS module now supports Galileo OSNMA (Open Service Navigation Message Authentication) through a firmware update.
This firmware update further improves the spoofing detection and jamming detection performance of the existing high-performance multi-band GNSS module, ensuring robust and reliable performance in a wide range of applications such as robotic lawn mowers, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), surveying, and mapping.
The ZED-F9P-05B is the first u-blox product to feature OSNMA, a robust cryptographic solution against spoofing, setting a new industry standard for GNSS security and reliability.
Additionally, this update helps ensure excellent performance of the ZED-F9P-05B. Newly updated features include improved spoofing and jamming detection to ensure the robustness of the end product against tampering and malicious attacks, as well as improved Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) convergence to reduce the risk of inaccurate readings, which are critical in surveying applications.
Additionally, the newly added SPARTN Beidou satellite support further enhances the GNSS receiver’s capabilities and improves performance of the u-blox PointPerfect GNSS correction service in some areas. The receiver also features an advanced ionospheric model, providing even more robust performance during periods of high ionospheric activity.
