The product to be introduced this time applies 'Food AI' technology, which is a step forward in artificial intelligence, to ▲provide customized diets and recipes, ▲automatically recognize internal ingredients, and ▲make online grocery ordering easier.
We've added new food service management and meal planner features to suggest customized meals and recipes.
Family Hub uses AI functions to recommend customized diets and recipes based on members' pre-registered favorite foods, frequently used ingredients, and individual eating habits.
In addition, the View Inside function, which allows you to check the inside of the refrigerator, has been further upgraded so that the refrigerator can recognize the ingredients stored in it and add new ones or reflect the remaining ingredients information in the food list, while allowing you to cook with the stored ingredients. Provides recipes that are available.
Consumers can add items to their shopping list if they don't have the ingredients they need in their refrigerator, and can also order them online through FamilyHub.
The family board space, where family members can share and communicate with each other's daily lives, has also been improved to enable sharing of videos and website URLs. A calendar function that allows family members to check their schedules at a glance has also been added to expand the scope of communication.
“The 2020 Family Hub is a smart refrigerator that integrates functions from grocery purchasing to storage and diet management in one place,” said Yoo Mi-young, managing director of Samsung Electronics’ home appliance business division. “It will be an opportunity for refrigerators to become even more deeply embedded in families’ daily lives.”
Meanwhile, the 2020 Family Hub, combined with a bespoke design, is scheduled to be released in the domestic market around April.
