한국자동차연구원(원장 나승식)이 16일 서울시 강남구에 위치한 코엑스 스타트업 브랜치에서 ‘모빌리티 산업의 결산과 전망 : 미래 모빌리티 발전을 위한 도전과 전략(부제)’을 주제로 제15회 자산어보 행사를 개최했다.
Key announcements from government, industry, academia, and economic circles, and predictions for the future mobility market
The Korea Automobile Research Institute (President Seungsik Na) held a meeting to summarize the mobility industry in 2024 and forecast 2025.
On the 16th, Hanjayeon held the 15th Asset Management Report event at the COEX Startup Branch in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, with the theme of ‘Mobility Industry Settlement and Prospects: Challenges and Strategies for Future Mobility Development (Subtitle)’.
The event was attended by approximately 120 key figures, including President Han Ja-yeon, Na Seung-sik, Vice President of Management Lim Gwang-hoon, Director of Reliability and Certification Technology Research Institute Kim Jun-won, Director of Chassis and Materials Technology Research Institute Han Beom-seok, Secretary Kim Hyo-sun of the Automobile Division of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Professor Hong Seong-su of Seoul National University, Team Leader Jang Jae-ryong of the HMG Management Research Institute of Hyundai Motor Group, and Research Fellow Jang Moon-soo of Hyundai Motor Securities.
The Jasan Eobo event hosted by Hanjayeon is an abbreviation for ‘Uniting and Supporting the Automobile Industry’ and is a regular networking event aimed at sharing useful information and promoting collaboration among members based on regular meetings and exchanges among members of the mobility industry.
The 15th Asset Management Review event, hosted by Hanjayeon, was designed to close out 2024 and look back on the past year’s mobility industry and issues, and to provide a venue for communication and discussion for industry members to come together to explore macro market prospects and challenging response strategies for 2025.
SpecificallyThe event began with a welcoming speech by President Na Seung-sik of Hanjayon, followed by the following topics: △Key issues in mobility in 2024 (△Electric vehicle fires and battery stability issues △Importance and issues of cybersecurity due to vehicle software transformation △Activation of support laws for the transition of the future automobile parts industry), △Experts' perspectives on 2025 (Kim Hyo-sun, Secretary of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Hong Seong-soo, Professor at Seoul National University, Jang Jae-ryong, Team Leader of Hyundai Motor Group HMG Management Research Institute, and Jang Moon-soo, Research Fellow at Hyundai Motor Securities), △Expert discussion and Q&A, △On-site report on the 2024 asset management report, and △Free networking.
In particular, in the session on expert perspectives on 2025, experts from government, academia, industry, and economy were invited to convey their perspectives and opinions in each field, and lively communication was conducted through free discussion and Q&A with each other and the audience.
In addition, the exhibition hall prepared by Hanjayeon featured research results and technology consulting booths from the Daegu-Gyeongbuk, Gwangju, Jeonnam, and Gyeonggi regional headquarters, providing a space for technology exchanges with visitors, R&D support, and opportunities to discover new partner companies.
Na Seung-sik, the president of Hanjaeyeon, said, “As the years go by, the automobile industry is expanding more broadly, and is facing a rapid change with the emergence of innovative technologies represented by electrification and eco-friendliness.” He added, “Through this event, we will predict the year 2025 and seek effective strategies to play a central role as a catalyst for the sound growth and advancement of our automobile industry.”
