Etiforce (CEO Ho-Jun Kim), a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) semiconductor company, is gaining attention as a major global V2X chipset supplier based on its solid technological prowess.
Etiforce announced on the 8th that it was listed as a major global V2X chipset supplier along with Qualcomm and Autotalks in the 'V2X Chipset Market (2025-2031)' report published by global market research firm IndustryARC (London, UK) in March 2025.
According to the report, in the world’s first 3GPP Release 16-based sidelink interoperability trial led by Keysight Technologies in 2024, Etifos’ 5G-V2X solution successfully performed interoperability tests with Autotalks’ Secton3 chipset, demonstrating technology compatibility and commercial viability.
The report also evaluated the Software Defined Modem (SDM) proposed by Etifos as an 'innovative technology that enables the transition from LTE-V2X to 5G-V2X without equipment replacement.'
The report noted that Etiphos' SDM technology is a key technology that can reduce the burden of infrastructure replacement and secure long-term market competitiveness.
Listed in this IndustryARC V2X Chipset Market Report by Etiforce are: This is the first for a domestic semiconductor company, and it is expected to have a positive effect on Etiforce's expansion of opportunities for cooperation with global Tier 1 companies and government projects as a V2X chipset company. -
Kim Ho-jun, CEO of Etiforce, said, “This listing is a comprehensive recognition of Etiforce’s technological prowess, marketability, and growth potential,” and expressed his ambition by saying, “We will successfully settle the C-V2X chipset, which is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2025, in the market and raise the status of K-startups in the global fabless semiconductor market.”
