경남 창원 강소특구의 기술핵심기관인 한국전기연구원(KERI)이 ‘이노테크 발굴 및 창업지원’ 사업의 일환으로 ‘KERITOR(캐리터, KERI+accelerator) 6기’를 모집한다.
Applicants and early-stage entrepreneurs under 7 years old, apply by May 26
Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI), a technology core organization of the Gyeongnam Changwon Gangso Special Zone, is recruiting the 6th KERITOR (KERI+accelerator) as part of the ‘Innotech Discovery and Startup Support’ project.
'Innotech Discovery and Startup Support' is a project that creates high-quality technology startups and supports their subsequent growth through entrepreneurship education, idea discovery, item verification, and public technology and investment linkage for startups. And those who participate in this project and dream of successful startups with Changwon Gangso Special Zone and KERI are called 'KERITORs'.
The application deadline for the 'KERITOR 6th' is Monday, May 26th, and the target is prospective entrepreneurs with excellent technical capabilities or early-stage entrepreneurs with less than 7 years of experience. The recruitment fields are divided into 2 (△Specialized field - electric propulsion system field △General field/specialized field outside technology-based field).
The 6th KERITOR selection team will receive various benefits, including: △corporate analysis and verification through 1:1 expert matching, △support for producing corporate briefing (IR) materials and technology credit rating (TCB) materials for investment attraction, △KERI technology consulting and collaboration support, △opportunities to participate in global local programs (buyer and investor matching, etc.), △conducting investment consultation sessions for domestic and foreign venture capitals (VCs), and △support for linking with related organizations’ startup business and commercialization funds (up to KRW 10 million). In addition, Changwon Gangso Special Zone plans to provide the so-called 'KERI-MATE' program, which supports the entire cycle of technology startups in cooperation with 'Co-op Partners', an accelerator (AC) in the Gyeongnam region, to provide direct and indirect investment attraction opportunities (over KRW 1.5 billion) and support global expansion.
KERI Technology Commercialization Division Director Seo Gil-soo said, “We will select entrepreneurs with technological capabilities in the region and provide advanced programs suitable for each growth stage to support their growth into sustainable companies,” adding, “We ask for a lot of interest from companies with promising technologies, such as those in specialized fields.”
