Badani, the right marketing fit for building the future of computing
An IT marketing expert with experience at IT technology companies including Nvidia and Cisco Systems has joined Arm as its new Chief Marketing Officer.
Arm Holdings announced on the 14th that it has appointed Ami Badani as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Badani will oversee Arm’s global marketing organization and report to Arm CEO Rene Haas.
“Arm is at the forefront of the world’s most advanced technology companies and is leading the semiconductor industry’s transition to AI,” said Badani. “I am excited to join Arm and look forward to working with its world-class team.”
Prior to joining Arm, Badani served as Vice President of Marketing and Developer Products at NVIDIA. At NVIDIA, she fostered the developer ecosystem for data processing units (DPUs), drove data strategy for generative AI, and led product and technology marketing efforts for the data center portfolio, one of NVIDIA’s largest growth areas.
“As the Arm compute platform continues to evolve, reaching a broader range of customers and developers in the age of AI is critical,” said Rene Haas, Arm CEO. “Ami Badani’s deep experience in AI and proven track record in driving awareness of the developer ecosystem make her the ideal person to lead our marketing efforts to build the future of compute at Arm.”
Badini is expected to bring a fresh mix of technical marketing, product management, strategy and investment experience to Arm. Prior to joining NVIDIA, Badini served as CMO of Cumulus Networks, an enterprise software provider acquired by NVIDIA in 2020, and has also held marketing and product management leadership roles at several technology companies, including Cisco Systems. Prior to Cisco, he was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan.
Meanwhile, Badani earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.
