While Samsung Electronics is unable to surpass the so-called '50,000 won' mark, SK Hynix is looking at the 200,000 won range and is solidifying its position as a leading semiconductor stock in the domestic stock market.
SK Hynix is expected to showcase its advanced AI memory technology at CES 2025, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA on the 7th, and it is interpreted that buying power is pouring in as good performance in the fourth quarter is expected when it announces its earnings at the end of this month.
SK Hynix, a leading advanced memory supplier that virtually exclusively supplies HBM to NVIDIA, is currently in the process of mass producing and supplying the world's first HBM 12-layer product, and the market's attention is focused on the sample of the HBM3E 16-layer product that was officially announced last November, which is scheduled to be unveiled at this year's CES.
The HBM3E 16-layer product is known to maximize heat dissipation performance by controlling chip warpage while implementing the highest layer, 16 layers, by utilizing the advanced MR-MUF process.
Attention around the world is focused on the keynote speech by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang at CES 2025, as he is likely to mention the expansion of AI servers and the outlook for supply. Expectations for AI memory are also expected to grow accordingly.
