Samsung Unveils Four Color e-Paper Types at ISE

Samsung Electronics will be unveiling a number of new products that lead the commercial display industry at ISE 2025, Europe's largest display exhibition, held in Barcelona, Spain from the 4th to the 7th (local time).

Samsung Electronics has set up an exhibition hall measuring approximately 522 pyeong and will introduce △ four types of ultra-low power display 'Samsung Color ePaper' △ SmartThings Pro, a B2B integrated connection platform with enhanced AI functions △ new electronic whiteboard products △ extra-large signage suitable for high-end stores and building lobbies, etc.

At the entrance to the exhibition hall, a giant media façade utilizing The Wall, a 462-inch display featuring Samsung Micro LED technology, was installed.

“For commercial displays, it is very important to simultaneously meet the market’s needs for energy savings and device management efficiency, as well as the public’s desire for immersive experiences,” said Jeong Hoon, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business. “We will take the lead in opening up new markets with new products such as ‘Samsung Color e-Paper.’”

■ Samsung Color E-Paper 4 Types Released

Samsung Electronics digital content Introducing four Samsung Color e-Paper products that innovatively reduce power consumption for advertising.

Samsung Color e-Paper, which can be selected according to the purpose of use and installation location, consists of three types: △13-inch (1,600x1,200) resolution, △25-inch (3,200x1,800) resolution, △32-inch QHD (2,560x1,440) resolution, and △1 type for outdoor use with a 75-inch 5K (5,120x2,880) resolution.

Samsung Color ePaper is a digital paper that uses ink technology, and is characterized by power consumption of 0.00 watts (W) when content is maintained. It also consumes significantly less power than existing digital signage when changing screens, which can reduce energy costs.

■ AI-enhanced SmartThings Pro and AI electronic whiteboard new products unveiled

Samsung Electronics is also strengthening the AI and automatic control functions of SmartThings Pro to improve signage usability and management efficiency.

SmartThings Pro, a B2B integrated connection platform, uses AI to analyze floor plans registered by users and provides them as three-dimensional 3D drawings through the Interactive View function. Users can manage devices connected to SmartThings Pro by mapping them on a 3D diagram.

Samsung Electronics' self-developed cryptographic module, CryptoCore, is installed to safely encrypt IoT connection authentication information, thereby increasing the security when connecting devices. CryptoCore has obtained FIPS 140-3 certification, an international certification for cryptographic modules, and has been recognized for the security, integrity, and reliability of cryptographic modules.

The 2025 model of the electronic whiteboard, which was first unveiled at Bett 2025, Europe’s largest education technology exhibition held in London, England in January, will also be exhibited at this ISE. The WAFX-P electronic whiteboard, which runs on the Android 15 operating system, is equipped with Samsung’s AI Assistant solution and supports functions such as Circle to Search, which provides image search or text translation on the screen, and AI Summary, which summarizes lecture and meeting content.

■ 115-inch 4K ultra-large smart signage unveiled

Samsung Electronics unveiled a super-large 115-inch 4K smart signage this year. The 115-inch QHFX model offers a seamless viewing experience with no screen seams and supports multi-viewing up to four splits.

The 115-inch QHFX model is an ultra-large, high-definition display with a 16:9 screen ratio that can be used in a wide range of settings, from conference rooms to flagship stores that require a luxurious spatial atmosphere.
