AMD continues to grow and maintain its strong competitiveness in the x86 processor market.

According to the 2024 Q4 x86 Shipment Report released by market research firm Mercury Research, AMD showed a strong presence in the market by recording significant growth in server and client revenue share.

According to the report, AMD's server revenue share increased by 3.7 percentage points year-over-year and 1.6 percentage points quarter-over-quarter, reaching 35.5%. This is an important indicator that AMD is continuing to grow in the server market.

In addition, the market share based on server sales volume also increased by 2.0 percentage points year-on-year and 0.9 percentage points quarter-on-quarter.

AMD also showed significant growth in client sales share, recording 23.8%, up 8.4 percentage points year-over-year and 2.1 percentage points quarter-over-quarter. As a result, AMD recorded 28.2% of total CPU sales share, up 6.7 percentage points year-on-year and 1.8 percentage points quarter-on-quarter. Based on total CPU sales volume, the share increased 4.3 percentage points year-on-year and 0.7 percentage points quarter-on-quarter.
