Collaboration on developing joint cloud business models

Support for customer private and hybrid clouds

Dell Technologies Korea (CEO Kyung-jin Kim) and Kakao Enterprise (CEO Kyung-jin Lee) will work closely together to combine Dell Technologies' data center infrastructure solutions with Kakao Enterprise's high-performance cloud to enable customers to utilize their data assets stably.

Dell and Kakao Enterprise signed a strategic business agreement at Dell Technologies' GFC office in Yeoksam-dong on the 13th.

Through this agreement, Dell Technologies and Kakao Enterprise plan to jointly develop a cloud business model and work together to provide optimal solutions to customers.

By combining Dell Technologies' industry-leading data center infrastructure solutions with Kakao Enterprise's high-performance cloud, customers of both companies can achieve data efficiency in a multi-cloud environment.It has become possible to build a secure and flexible IT infrastructure that can better protect IT assets and ensure service continuity.

Enterprises and public institutions using various forms of clouds can deploy applications based on cloud natives or optimize VM (virtual machine)-based workload operation environments through the joint offering of the two companies when building or enhancing private or hybrid clouds in a multi-cloud environment.

In particular, in industries where high-performance cloud adoption is essential, such as games, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, AI, and blockchain, it is expected that high-performance, high-quality clouds will be easily utilized at a reasonable cost.

Kakao Cloud, Kakao Enterprise's integrated enterprise cloud platform, provides stable cloud services to enterprises and organizations that require high-performance and high-density IT environments such as ultra-large AI models and high-performance computing (HPC), and supports digital innovation based on cloud native.

Kakao Cloud has accumulated high-performance and high-density cloud technology through direct research and development, and has the competitive edge of △high performance △scalability and stability △verified security.

In the future, Kakao Cloud plans to continue close technical collaboration to provide cloud services that guarantee industry-leading performance and availability through instances based on Dell PowerEdge servers.

Dell Technologies and Kakao Enterprise regularly hold technical seminars to develop joint offerings and provide technical support, and conduct various joint marketing activities such as informing the unique features of integrated solutions and customer success stories. We actively seek to develop markets through activities.

In addition, we plan to expand the purchasing methods available to customers by combining Dell APEX, which will allow customers to experience a flexible subscription consumption model in the future.

We are also exploring ways to provide industry-specific cloud services in collaboration with solution partners in the medical and education fields.
