Rockwell Automation, the world's largest industrial automation and digital transformation company, is moving full-scale to enhance data center operational efficiency and reliability through AI, automation technology, and IT/OT integration.
Rockwell Automation announced that it has signed business agreements with Onion Software, Cisco, and MakinaRocks to help maximize data center operational efficiency.
According to global market research firm Statista, the global data center market is expected to grow to $438 billion by 2028.
Along with this growth, demand for the convergence of industrial AI and automation technology is increasing, and the digital transformation of data centers is becoming an essential element.
Accordingly, companies participating in the agreement with Rockwell Automation will combine their core technology capabilities to operate data centers.It is expected to contribute to increasing productivity and efficiency.
Rockwell Automation provides core technologies in the field of data center control by applying PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and industrial automation systems, and Onion Software, a data center solution specialist, optimizes operational processes through data center management solutions and middleware technologies.
Cisco, a global leader in networking and security, strengthens the stability and security of data centers with network infrastructure and security technologies, and MakinaRocks, an industry-specialized AI company, maximizes the efficiency of data center operations with industrial AI-based operational optimization technology.
This agreement will enable AI-based predictive maintenance and energy optimization, allowing customers to achieve two goals simultaneously: reducing operating costs and improving productivity.
In addition, the safety and reliability of the data center operating system can be strengthened through the advancement of real-time monitoring and control systems.
