Christian Klein, CEO of SAP, introduced SAP's innovations centered around SAP Business Data Cloud and SAP's generative AI copilot Joule, along with Shin Eun-young, CEO of SAP Korea, at the 'Business Unleashed' press conference held on the 20th.

At the event, SAP CEO Christian Klein said that AI agents are emerging as the center of innovation as many companies accelerate digital transformation to remain competitive in the global market.

Christian CEO said that AI agents are becoming tools that go beyond simply eliminating inefficiencies and drastically improve an organization’s overall productivity. He mentioned that AI agents analyze data in real time and support decision-making based on this or automate work processes to help employees focus on more important tasks.

He went on to say that companies using SAP's technology platform are efficiently managing complex processes in the supply chain through AI agents, and that LG Chem is introducing AI to its production process to reduce resource waste, maximize process efficiency, and achieve environmental goals.

Samsung Electronics also mentioned that it is using AI to provide optimized experiences throughout the customer life cycle, and that it is strengthening brand loyalty by providing solutions that maintain contact with customers and improve service quality even after the sale.

He also said that not only large corporations but also small and medium-sized enterprises are opening up new possibilities by utilizing AI agents, and that AI-based solutions will help small and medium-sized enterprises increase productivity with limited resources and secure competitiveness in the global market.

In particular, he noted that these technologies help in effectively deploying limited manpower, thereby facilitating business growth.

In particular, SAP's Jules is an AI-based work orchestrator that increases corporate work efficiency and automates work flows by integrating various AI agents. Jules is combined with SAP business applications to improve companies' core work processes, and the company plans to complete Korean support for Jules by the end of March to help Korean companies easily access AI innovation.
