Application deadline is the 18th, final assignment submission is on April 27th
Snowflake, a global AI data cloud company, is holding the 'Snowflake x Streamlit Hackathon Korea' for the first time in Korea.
The competition is an event that supports participants to develop their own applications using data, providing an opportunity to creatively implement data-driven solutions.
Participants can freely design data applications using Snowflake's data cloud platform and Streamlit, a Python-based dashboard and web application development tool.
Our key challenge is to implement solutions that can create business value based on real-world industry data provided through the Snowflake Marketplace.
A pre-training program is also provided for participants who lack technical knowledge.
On April 16, the Snowflake Korea User Group will host a hands-on webinar to help participants effectively utilize Snowflake and Streamlit.
Submitted tasks will be evaluated based on criteria such as functional completeness, technology usability, user experience, and problem-solving ability. In particular, how effectively the Snowflake platform and Streamlet were applied is expected to be a major factor in the evaluation.
The three final solutions selected will be announced on stage at the finals on May 14, and Streamlit co-founder and COO Amanda Kelly will directly participate in the judging to evaluate innovation and practicality.
“We hope this event will give everyone an opportunity to use Snowflake and Streamlit to turn their ideas into real-world applications,” said Kelly. “This will be a great opportunity to see the innovative possibilities of data-driven app development.”
Registration for participation is free until April 18th, and the final assignment submission deadline is April 27th. More information about the event can be found on the official hackathon website.
