TI NFC Introduction and NFC Use Cases

TI, a leading player in the RFID technology field, boasts industry-leading Radio Frequency Identification Systems and has produced over 1 billion RFID tags and over 100 million RFID readers. TI's RFID technology is being used in a wide variety of products worldwide. Today, with smartphone manufacturers' adoption of NFC and the proliferation of smartphones, 13.56MHz NFC technology is receiving considerable attention. Various smartphone applications utilizing NFC are being developed both domestically and internationally, and all portable products and home appliances are positioning themselves as smart appliances or smart products through mutual communication with smartphones. In this TI online seminar, we plan to explain the three basic operating modes of NFC (Peer to Peer, Reader/Writer, Card Emulation) and various implementation examples enabled by NFC utilization. Additionally, we would like to introduce TI's NFC solutions and the features of the TRF7970A transceiver product line, as well as various NFC applications that TI is preparing (BSL utilizing NFC, Bluetooth Pairing), and more.
