Part 1: Latest Technology Trends in Radar and Satellite for Aerospace and Defense Sectors, and Agilent's Latest Solutions / Part 2: Generation and Analysis of Diverse Simulated Signals in Field Environments for Radar/EW Performance Verification

Part 1: We examine an overview of new radar-related technologies being applied in recent aerospace and defense systems, and look at how these systems differ from one another and how performance and functionality can be enhanced. We introduce technology trends related to the satellite industry. We present Agilent's new advanced measurement solutions necessary for developing these systems, including new wideband signal generation and analysis solutions, multi-channel signal generation and analysis solutions, real-time signal analysis solutions, Calpod solutions, and so forth, and introduce how these solutions can be applied. Part 2: Radar/EW systems are increasingly operated in environments with complex and diverse signals. Various interference and jamming signals existing in the frequency ranges where radar/EW systems operate are sources of performance degradation, so validation using test signals that can simulate actual operational environments will help in more accurately understanding system performance and facilitating improvements. In this session, we introduce the process of creating and analyzing test signals that closely resemble actual operational environments using wideband multi-channel digitizers, wideband AWG (arbitrary waveform generators), and software.
