Infineon, Motor Drive System Solution Using Battery Power
The seminar we have prepared at Infineon this time is on Low Voltage Drives, which is a solution for systems that drive motors using battery power. Among various applications, we will briefly explain the current global market status for forklifts, light electric vehicles such as electric bicycles or electric motorcycles, and cordless tools. We aim to present an optimized system solution in selecting power semiconductor products for these applications. Additionally, we plan to present comprehensive solutions for various applications utilizing motor drive systems powered by batteries. The solutions will cover Low Voltage MOSFETs, gate drivers, microcontrollers, and we will explain the TOLL (TO Leadless) package that Infineon has strategically introduced. The TOLL package is capable of driving up to 300A and can reduce systems that previously required 2 to 3 parallel units of other packages into a single unit, which is expected to provide an optimized solution for customers who need to significantly reduce PCB space and costs. Finally, we will introduce a 300W motor control application kit implemented with Infineon products.
