Part 1: Carrier Aggregation is a technology that simultaneously bundles different frequency bands for broadband transmission and reception, serving as one method to meet the target maximum data transmission speed of 1 Gbps for IMT-Advanced, a 4G technology. However, this technology presents increased technical challenges compared to the existing LTE that utilizes a single band. Agilent, which has been leading LTE and LTE-Advanced related solutions, would like to introduce Carrier Aggregation, one of the core technologies of LTE-Advanced, along with related measurement products. Part 2: The power amplifier is one of the components that consumes the most battery in mobile communication handsets. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce solutions for technology that can reduce unnecessary energy consumption in mobile terminals through ET technology, thereby enabling longer battery usage time.
